Robert,

Good post. Is catching a summer flounder pretty easy or is it just a fluke if you snag one? :)

The question is - which is the tastiest?  And when you catch them, is it mainly for sport and you put them back or do you bring them home and eat them?

It isnt fake Kim!  Fluke, or summer Flounder is another name... Fluke have big mouths and look to the left... Flounder look to the right and have smaller mouths.

Steve, it is a fluke to catch one that is over 18 inches!  last year the minimum size was 17.5" and I always caught 17" fish... and a 17" fluke sure looks big enough to keep!  I am sure this year they will all be 17.5"...(I haven't been out yet this year)

And Lisa, the goal is to keep them and eat them!
